Felony charges have been brought against three arrested individuals in connection with the murder of Vagias Nestor, a 43-year-old betting agency owner who lost his life in an arson attack on Thessaloniki Street.
According to information, the three men were brought before a prosecutor, who brought charges of manslaughter with possible intent. The defendants are also charged with arson in common and with illegal possession and use of weapons.
The case was solved following an investigation by police, which proceeded with arrests thanks to video footage from security cameras that captured the arson attacks. According to the evidence, two different arson groups are involved.
The 43-year-old businessman had been attacked with flammable material at his shop, resulting in him suffering severe burns and later dying in hospital.
