A Mafia-style execution took place in the early morning hours of Sunday in Glyfada, according to In.gr. The victim is a man known to authorities by the alias "Parrot", who had a prominent presence in nightlife circles and among organised football supporters.
The body was found shortly after midnight at the intersection of Karamanli Avenue with Panagoulis Street, near the Golf area. The victim sustained multiple injuries to the body, with the perpetrator or perpetrators delivering the fatal blow with a gunshot to the head. Eight bullets were recovered at the scene.
"Parrot" worked as a security guard in nightclubs and was an organised supporter of Panathinaikos. His name had repeatedly occupied the attention of police over the past decade for serious crimes. Additionally, he had been recently released from prison and was circulating freely under restrictive conditions.
According to In.gr sources, the victim maintained close contacts with a member of the Greek Mafia who was murdered in 2025 in Chalandri. Authorities are examining his past with particular attention, as all evidence points to a premeditated "contract killing" and settling of outstanding scores.
