Police officers arrested two people in Heraklion for possession and trafficking of cocaine. Over 150 grams of drugs were seized.

As part of targeted operations against the trafficking of psychotropic substances, police forces in Heraklion proceeded with the arrest of two individuals. The operation forms part of the special planning of the local Police Directorate.
The operation was set up by the drugs combat unit, based on information utilised by the competent department. Officers from the service participated, with support from the city's motorcycle rapid response team.
During the check, the authorities caught one suspect while handing over illegal substances to his associate. Both were immediately immobilised. Subsequently, searches were carried out on the vehicles they used, as well as a house in an area falling under the Archanoi-Asterousia municipality.
The findings included: - Over 150 grams of cocaine (152.1 grams) - Cash of €6,000 - A precision scale - Three mobile phones - Two cars and one motorbike, which were used for transport and trafficking
The investigation into the case is being conducted by the Heraklion Drug Prosecution Department.
