The Greek Police have arrested two individuals involved in the Molotov cocktail attack on Marfin bank on 5 May 2010, which resulted in the death of three employees.
According to an official statement from the authorities, the operation to locate and arrest the suspects was conducted with the assistance of the service handling internal security matters. The two arrested individuals are now at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
In parallel, an arrest warrant has been issued for a third suspect, with investigations continuing to locate him.
The tragedy at Marfin, which occurred during demonstrations against the first Memorandum, cost the lives of three workers, including a pregnant woman. The case remains one of the most emblematic violent crimes of the past fifteen years.
