A police operation in Thessaloniki resulted in the arrest of twenty people, of whom fifteen are alleged to be members of a criminal organisation. The case file that was compiled includes a total of fifty-one people, whilst three key operatives, including the leader, remain at large.
According to the authorities, the group was in possession of a carbine, three pistols, knives and hammers. The members are accused of carrying out hooligan assaults as well as trafficking in narcotics in the city of Thessaloniki.
The investigation by the prosecution authorities is ongoing, with the aim of locating and arresting the three fugitive leadership operatives of the organisation.
