A 41-year-old Greek man was arrested in Rafina following the discovery of a large quantity of narcotics in his possession. The value of the seized drugs is estimated at more than €207,000.

A 41-year-old Greek man was arrested yesterday afternoon at Rafina port as he was in possession of a significant quantity of narcotic substances. The arrest was carried out by officers from the Regional Drugs Prosecution Team and the Security Office of the local Port Authority.
Port authorities conducted an inspection of a passenger vessel in the port. During the inspection, a specially trained substance detection dog indicated the suspect's luggage. In a subsequent search, illegal substances were found and seized.
In addition to the narcotics, authorities also took a mobile telephone belonging to the arrested man. The value of the substances found is estimated to exceed €207,000.
The preliminary investigation into the case is being conducted by the Central Port Authority of Rafina.
