The three-member Juvenile Court of Serres found a 16-year-old guilty of the death of a 17-year-old peer, which occurred in Serres during Epiphany 2026.

The court sentenced the minor to 10 years imprisonment, which constitutes the maximum penalty that can be imposed. The prosecutor had recommended a finding of guilt for premeditated manslaughter, based on article 299 of the Criminal Code.
