Heraklion: 40-year-old man appears in court facing child pornography and surveillance charges
A 40-year-old man was brought to Heraklion courthouse on charges of child pornography and a series of other offences. His defence hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, 29 September.

Charges have been filed against a 40-year-old man for a series of felony and misdemeanour offences following his arrest by the Heraklion Department for the Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes, according to Naftemporiki.
The charges include child pornography, sexual assault, bodily harm, violence against employees, domestic disturbance over time, threatening behaviour in the form of stalking, violation of personal data legislation, and illegal possession of a weapon.
According to police, the accused is alleged to have committed acts of stalking, threatening behaviour, and sexual assault against at least three women, aged 18, 20, and 25, during the period from 14 June to 25 September.
On Saturday, the 40-year-old was brought to Heraklion courthouse in Crete, where he requested and received an adjournment. His defence hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday, 29 September.
