A 57-year-old man was arrested in Heraklion, Crete accused of stealing diesel from a construction vehicle. The incident took place during a two-day period of the perpetrator's activity.
According to information from Protothema, the accused used a tube to siphon fuel from the vehicle. In total, over two days he managed to remove a quantity of 120 litres of diesel.
The theft was detected and the authorities proceeded with the arrest of the perpetrator. The 57-year-old was brought before the competent prosecutorial authorities, whilst the investigation continues.
