Woman, 29, stabs partner in Thessaloniki
An attack with a sharp object took place in a flat in the upper part of the city. The 24-year-old was transferred to hospital and underwent surgery. The perpetrator was arrested and faces charges of attempted murder.

A serious incident of violence occurred on Tuesday morning in a flat in the upper part of Thessaloniki. A woman, 29 years old, wounded her 24-year-old partner with a sharp object.
The wounded man was immediately transferred to a hospital on duty and underwent surgery. According to information from ANA, the victim sustained a chest wound.
Police officers from the White Tower police station located and arrested the perpetrator. A case file was drawn up against her that includes the charges of attempted murder, domestic violence and illegal weapons possession.
The 29-year-old is in custody and is expected to be brought before the judicial authorities.
