Officers from Katerini Security are investigating the death of a woman who was found in her residence with a head injury. A coroner from Thessaloniki was called to determine the cause.

Katerini Security is conducting an investigation into the death of a woman whose body was found within her residence in the area. The body was discovered in a supine position and presented a serious injury from blunt force trauma to the head.
The competent authorities immediately called a coroner from Thessaloniki in order to ascertain whether it was a case of homicide. At the scene of the incident, police officers observed blood traces in the form of footprint impressions, whilst near the lifeless body a piece of fabric with blood stains was also found.
The causes of death remain under investigation, with the authorities examining all possibilities.
