Athens Mixed Jury Court imposed a life sentence on the principal perpetrator of the murder of Polish professor Przemysław Geziórski, according to In.gr. The crime was committed in Agia Paraskevi in 2025.

The murder was carried out on the afternoon of 4 July 2025. The perpetrator followed the professor on foot and shot him shortly before he reached the house of his ex-wife, where he was due to see his children.

The accomplice in the case, the 43-year-old ex-wife of the victim, committed suicide in her prison cell in June 2026 — just days after the Justice system opened the way for her to be referred to trial.

The authorities initially identified details of the victim and investigated his relationships in Greece. They traced his ex-wife, discovering an acrimonious divorce, disagreements over custody of their two children, as well as financial disputes concerning companies they had jointly established in the United States.

Despite the ex-wife's refusal to cooperate, the Greek Police managed to piece together the puzzle of the case. They gathered evidence regarding surveillance of the professor and identified the principal perpetrator, who maintained a relationship with the accomplice.
