Disruption was caused at a hotel unit in Chania, Crete, when a heated altercation broke out between members of a British tourist family.
According to reports, the quarrel began between a 31-year-old man, his 39-year-old partner and his 54-year-old mother. During the incident, the young man used physical violence against his partner.
Police forces rushed to the scene and arrested the 31-year-old. However, the victim stated that she did not wish for him to be prosecuted, nor did his mother. As a result, the man was released.
