Pimping history for 43-year-old from Kipseli — victim a 40-year-old German woman

Newsit.gr reveals that the 43-year-old B.S., who is being held today together with his 38-year-old partner in connection with the case of the murdered infant found in a container in an apartment in Kipseli, had been implicated in the past in a serious case of pimping and abduction.

According to information, in 2020 the then 37-year-old had convinced a 40-year-old woman from Germany to come to Greece after they first made contact via Facebook. Once the woman was settled in the country, the suspect forced her into prostitution and kept her imprisoned in an apartment in Kipseli. The 40-year-old subsequently managed to escape and report the man to the authorities.

Following this complaint, a case file was opened against him for pimping, and according to information he was remanded in custody for five months. He was released on 26 October 2020.

A resident of the building where the events took place spoke to Newsit.gr about that period. According to the witness, the suspect was exploiting the German woman in the same apartment where he lived with his partner and their three children, aged 9, 6 and 3 years old at that time.

"We certainly saw the children. We heard noise constantly, which bothered us. They lived there for about a year. Regarding drugs, I cannot tell you anything. I don't know if there was anything like that and we hadn't smelled anything in the building," he said.

A second neighbour described the 43-year-old to Newsit.gr as an imposing physical presence who did not go unnoticed. "I remember the perpetrator. He was a giant, a bestial man. He was arrested back then because he had brought a girl from Germany illegally and was exploiting her. At some point the girl managed to leave the house, went to the police and reported him. Then the police came and arrested him," he said characteristically.

Both witnesses noted that from the time of his arrest at that time, no member of the family appeared again in the building in central Athens.
