Three vehicles belonging to the Attica Region were completely destroyed in a fire that broke out in the early hours of Friday (6/6) in a car park on Gkizi Street in Marousi.
According to information gathered, the fire started shortly before 4:00 in the morning. The perpetrators, whose features were obscured, approached the car park from the direction of Kifisia Avenue. They used flammable material to drench the parked vehicles and subsequently set them alight.
Police forces that arrived at the scene secured video footage from surveillance cameras, which captured the movements of the arsonists. Information indicates that this involved a group of individuals rather than a single perpetrator.
Investigations to identify those responsible are continuing.
