Well-known artist files complaint against 56-year-old doctor over disclosure of sensitive data
A prominent figure from the entertainment world is filing a complaint and lawsuit against the detained doctor, after his name was mentioned in her statement to the investigating magistrate.

Artist takes legal action against doctor following disclosure of his name in case file
A complaint and lawsuit against the 56-year-old doctor who is in custody for the murder of Giorgos Mazonakis is being prepared by a well-known figure from the entertainment sector, according to Newsit.gr. The complaint was prompted by the reference to his name in the pages of the statement given by the accused to the investigating magistrate.
The unqualified doctor, who was operating illegal clinics on Karneadou Street in Kolonaki, promised her clients — including several figures from the showbiz world — longevity and detoxification through plasmapheresis. During her statement, she referred to the specific artist, implying that his condition was similar to that of the singer when he underwent the treatment.
Artist "shocked" — denies confusion with the Mazonakis case
Newsit.gr contacted the artist himself, who stated that he was shocked by the arbitrary reference. He acknowledged that he had visited the Kolonaki clinic, but clarified that the reason for his visit was different: he underwent rejuvenation therapy due to exhaustion from professional stress, and not for the same reasons that the singer attended, as the doctor claims.
He said he came into contact with the accused last year through a friend and initially expressed reservations about the procedure. The 56-year-old ultimately persuaded him to proceed, and he underwent the treatment twice, each lasting three hours, with results that he described as satisfactory.
What angered him, as he stated, was the disclosure of sensitive personal data about him as a patient through the case file of a high-profile case, with the manner and context described by the doctor not corresponding to reality according to him.
The revealing excerpt from the statement
The critical point of the 56-year-old's testimony, which triggered the legal action, includes the following exchange with the investigating magistrate:
Question: "In what condition was he when he came?" (referring to Giorgos Mazonakis)
Answer: "He was not particularly worse on Wednesday. He just had a cut on his head and told me he banged it taking out the rubbish. I didn't touch the cut. He was speaking a bit fast and confused. Like he had taken substances. And he was like that on Tuesday too. I didn't ask him if he had taken substances, but from my medical experience I believe he had used them. He told me he was sleepless and wanted to sleep during the treatment. You can sleep normally during the treatment. He was not in a condition where he couldn't cooperate so we could continue with the treatment. There was no contraindication for the treatment. I have done the treatment on a patient [mentions the name of a well-known figure], who was also in a similar condition and his treatment went fine. He slept during it and the treatment was completed successfully."
Legal action within the coming days
Newsit.gr also contacted the artist's lawyer, Elli Roussou, who confirmed that within the coming days a complaint and lawsuit will be filed against the 56-year-old. The legal documents will concern the exposure of her client and the slanderous defamation that he claims to be suffering from this reference.
