New details have emerged about the criminal group dismantled by the Hellenic Police in Mykonos. The leader of the organisation owned a company that provided transport services to island visitors using small vehicles. This business served as a front for the illegal activity.

Buyers had the option to choose different types of substances, depending on their financial means. The company's vans were used as cover for the distribution.

During an operation carried out on Wednesday, five members of the group were arrested. A 31-year-old woman is facing charges of possession. Their activity had started at least from mid-April, according to the findings.

Authorities conducted searches at homes and hiding places in Mykonos, Piraeus and Perama. Quantities of cocaine, MDMA, cannabis, ketamine, drug tablets, pharmaceutical preparations, as well as hallucinogenic mushrooms and cards containing an unknown substance were located and seized.

The illegal profits are calculated to exceed €700,000, based on sales and money that was seized. The arrested individuals were referred to the prosecutor.
