Pharmacist released on bail for illegal medicine laboratory
A pharmacist accused of operating an illegal laboratory manufacturing pharmaceutical preparations and doping substances in the northern suburbs of Athens was released on bail of €50,000.

A pharmacist accused of illegal production and distribution of medicines and anabolic substances was released from custody following payment of €50,000 bail and ordered to report regularly to a police station. The decision was issued by an investigating magistrate and prosecutor after his testimony.
The laboratory in question was allegedly located beneath his pharmacy in an area of northern Attica. He claimed that all procedures had been lawful and that no violations had occurred.
A total of nine people had been brought in for the same case. The remaining eight individuals had already been released in the preceding days.
