Four Albanians shot the owner of a mobile phone shop on Patision 274. Three were arrested following a chase in Kifissos.
Three arrests following shooting attack on Patision Street
Three of the four perpetrators who attacked a mobile phone shop in central Athens were arrested on Wednesday afternoon, 27 May, according to ERT.
The four Albanians approached the shop on Patision Street 274 by car, which is owned by a Pakistani national. One of the passengers got out and shot the owner in the feet. The reason for the attack remains unknown.
Immediately afterwards, the perpetrators attempted to flee, but police officers spotted them and pursued them on Kifissos Avenue. They were immobilised at Tsounda Street, where three were arrested. The fourth managed to escape and investigations to locate him are ongoing.
