Police officers in Santorini carried out the arrest of four individuals following investigations that revealed dangerous living conditions for children.

Police officers from the Santorini Subdivision arrested four Greek nationals aged between 20 and 33 years on charges of child endangerment. The arrests took place on the morning of 10 July 2026.

During searches conducted at the homes of those arrested, the authorities identified serious breaches of hygiene standards. According to the Police, these conditions posed risks to the health of the minors living there.

A case file was compiled against the four individuals and the matter is being investigated by the courts.
