A Russian motorcyclist, member of the Hells Angels, was arrested at Promachona following a police check, as he was found in possession of a knife.

Another motorcyclist was arrested at the Promachona border crossing whilst attempting to enter the country with the destination of the Hells Angels gathering in Igoumenitsa.
The man, a Russian national, was identified by police officers from the passport control department. During a search conducted on him, a knife was found in his possession, resulting in his arrest.
This arrest is added to a series of arrests that have been carried out at Promachona in recent hours. Yesterday, three motorcyclists of Bulgarian nationality were arrested and released, whilst four Poles were taken to the prosecutor.
The motorcycles of those arrested remain confiscated at the border crossing. Police checks are continuing today.
