Serres: Two minors aged 13 and 14 arrested for motorcycle thefts and burglaries
Two minors were arrested in Serres for burglaries of shops and thefts of three motorcycles. The stolen vehicles were located and returned to their owners.
Minors aged 13 and 14 behind series of thefts and burglaries in Serres
Police officers from the Crime Investigation and Detection Unit of Serres arrested two minors, aged 13 and 14, in the early morning hours of Friday, 18 September 2026, according to ertnews.gr.
During the night of 17 to 18 September, the two minors burgled a shop in the city of Serres and stole 150 euros. When they were arrested, 21.50 euros were found in their possession and were seized.
From the investigation that followed, it emerged that during the previous period the same individuals had stolen three motorcycles in the city, whilst they failed to steal a fourth. Additionally, in the early morning of 13 September 2026 they had burgled another shop, without stealing anything.
A third Greek minor, aged 14, was included in the case file, who had participated in one of the motorcycle thefts. The stolen motorcycles were located and returned to their lawful owners.
