A group of individuals attacked a young man in Patissia. One of them wounded him with a knife in the chest. He is being treated in serious condition.
19-year-old seriously injured following blade attack in Patissia
On Saturday afternoon (13/6), at approximately 18:00, a 19-year-old man was attacked on Acharnes Street 270, in Patissia. A group of individuals approached him with the intention of robbing him of personal belongings. When he resisted, one of the attackers struck him with a blade in the chest.
The 19-year-old collapsed covered in blood. Later, after 22:00, he was transported to hospital accompanied by an acquaintance. He was admitted for hospitalisation and medical monitoring. His health condition is assessed as serious. Transfer to an ambulance to another medical facility is being examined.
The prosecution authorities are investigating the case, collecting witness statements and material from security cameras in the area, with the aim of identifying and locating the perpetrators.
