Police arrested a 15-year-old in Pefki following a complaint that led to an investigation into child sexual abuse material. According to Dikastiko.gr, the minor was identified and apprehended after authorities investigated the case.
The Hellenic Police announced that the 15-year-old obtained a photograph of a 14-year-old girl from her TikTok account. He then proceeded to edit and modify the image, creating material of inappropriate and offensive content.
The manipulated material was posted in a closed group on Instagram. This action ultimately led to the identification of the perpetrator by the prosecuting authorities.
The minor was arrested and referred to the competent prosecutor. The case is being examined within the framework of legislation protecting minors and offences committed via the internet.
