Police in Rhodes have arrested a 28-year-old man who attacked two young female tourists in Faliraki, wounding one in the neck with a broken bottle. The perpetrator faces charges of indecent assault and causing bodily harm.

A 28-year-old man is now in custody following an attack he launched against two young female tourists in the Faliraki area. He was arrested by police from the Archangelos department.
The incident began around 5:30 in the morning, according to information reported by ERT South Aegean. The perpetrator approached the two foreign women and harassed them with inappropriate remarks, while indecently touching one of them. When the tourists reacted, the situation escalated.
The young man followed them out of the establishment where they were located and continued the attack. He struck them with punches to the face, and subsequently used a broken bottle, resulting in him seriously wounding one woman in the neck.
The arrested man is charged with indecent assault and causing bodily harm.
