Port authorities from Nea Moudania arrested a foreign national who was illegally selling counterfeit merchandise in Peukochori. One hundred and fifteen counterfeit products were seized.

Officers from the Port Authority of Nea Moudania proceeded today (2/7) in the afternoon with the arrest of a 41-year-old foreign national, a citizen of Bangladesh, who is accused of violating the legislative framework concerning trademarks and the exercise of outdoor commercial activities.
According to ERTnews, the foreign national was identified in an area of Peukochori, within a port zone, where he was distributing counterfeit products and industrial craft goods. Port officers from the 2nd Port Authority Department of Nea Moudania of the Central Port Authority of Thessaloniki who carried out the preliminary investigation seized a total of 115 items of counterfeit merchandise.
The arrested person was taken before the competent prosecutor.
