51-year-old arrested in Agios Panteleimon: 951g of cannabis and €2,000
A 51-year-old foreign national was arrested on Saturday in Agios Panteleimon following a check by the DIAS unit. Nearly one kilogram of cannabis and €2,000 were found in his possession.

According to thriassio.gr, officers from the DIAS unit arrested a 51-year-old foreign national on Saturday evening in the Agios Panteleimon area, accused of drug trafficking.
Police officers spotted the man moving about in a suspicious manner during a patrol and decided to conduct a check. As soon as the 51-year-old noticed the presence of police, he hastily threw a bag under a parked car.
The search that followed uncovered 951 grams of unprocessed cannabis, as well as a number of nylon packaging materials intended for the distribution of the substances. Additionally, €2,000 was seized from the perpetrator's possession.
Following his arrest, the Regional Crime Investigation Division formed a case file against him, and he is expected to be brought before the competent prosecutor.
