A 63-year-old man was arrested on Kos against whom a European arrest warrant had been issued by French authorities for economic crimes and participation in a criminal organisation.

A 63-year-old man came into the hands of the prosecutorial authorities on Kos, as a European arrest warrant had been issued against him. The island's Crime Investigation and Detection Department carried out the arrest.
The investigation being conducted by French authorities concerns charges of intellectual property law violations, money laundering from illegal activities and participation in an organised criminal network.
The arrested man is to be presented before the Court of Appeals Prosecutor of the Dodecanese.
