Lawyer arrested in Voula for beating minor son during live TikTok broadcast
A lawyer was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday in Voula following a report of domestic violence against his minor son. The incident was recorded during a live broadcast on TikTok.

In the early hours of Wednesday, 30 September, the authorities arrested a prominent lawyer in Voula, accused of domestic violence against his minor son, according to Newsit.gr.
The case came to light on the evening of Tuesday, when an anonymous adult called the reporting line "10201" for matters involving minors. The caller stated that he possessed video material in which the lawyer allegedly exercised verbal and physical violence against the child.
The incident took place on the afternoon of 29 September, during a live broadcast on the TikTok platform.
Following the report, the Alimos Office for Combating Domestic Violence initiated ex officio prosecution for violations of articles 6 and 9 of the law on domestic violence. Police officers went to his home in Voula and located him at 06:30, taking him to the Alimos Office.
A case file was prepared against him for criminal offences. By verbal prosecutorial order, he was released, whilst the case will proceed through the court.
