Passers-by found a seven-year-old girl wandering alone in the centre of Thessaloniki. The 25-year-old father was arrested on a charge of exposing a minor.

Passers-by discovered a seven-year-old girl wandering without an adult escort in the centre of Thessaloniki on Saturday afternoon.
The child had left her home without parental supervision. It was established that the mother was absent from the city, whilst the father was inside the house without realising his daughter was missing.
Officers from the White Tower Police Department proceeded with the arrest of the 25-year-old parent. The arrested man faces charges of exposing a minor and will be brought before the competent prosecuting authority.
