Police at the Promachonas border crossing arrested a Russian motorcyclist, a member of the Hells Angels, who was travelling to the organisation's gathering in Igoumenitsa while carrying a knife.

Another motorcyclist was arrested by police from the passport control section of the Promachonas border station as he attempted to enter Greece with destination Igoumenitsa, where the Hells Angels gathering is being held.
The arrested man is a Russian national. During the search conducted, authorities found a knife in his possession, resulting in his arrest.
It is noted that yesterday seven other motorcyclists were arrested at the same station. Of these, three with Bulgarian nationality were released. The four Polish riders are being taken before the prosecutor. Their motorcycles remain confiscated at the border station.
Police at Promachonas continue intensive checks today.
