Kiosk employee arrested at Omonia for drug trafficking
Police arrested a 64-year-old foreign national who was employed at a kiosk at Omonia and was selling cannabis to customers. Almost 250 grammes of substances and 18 ml of oil were seized.

On Monday afternoon, police officers participating in the Ariadne Plan conducted a raid on a kiosk near Omonia. There they arrested a 64-year-old foreign employee of the shop caught red-handed, who was handing over processed cannabis to a 29-year-old buyer in exchange for money.
Following the arrest, the authorities searched the premises. They found and seized as evidence 251 grammes of dried cannabis and 18 millilitres of cannabis oil for smoking. The kiosk owner, aged 36, was also arrested.
The three arrested individuals were taken to the Crime Prosecution and Investigation Department of the area. A case file was compiled for violation of laws concerning narcotic substances. They were subsequently referred to the prosecutor.
