Two Greeks were arrested on Paros following a police investigation. Drug substances and illegal weapons were found during a search.

Arrests for drugs and firearms on Paros
Police officers from the local department on Paros proceeded this morning with the arrest of two Greeks, who are accused of possession and trafficking in narcotic substances as well as illegal possession of firearms.
The operation was conducted following information that had been gathered regarding drug trafficking on the island. The two men were located early in the morning and subjected to a search.
In a search that followed at their residences, the authorities found and seized eight packets of cocaine with a total weight of 8.2 grammes, a small quantity of cannabis, one electronic precision scale, two devices for grinding cannabis, a wooden baton, a folding metal rod, a flare gun with four rounds, a gun holster, two knuckledusters and four folding knives.
The arrested individuals are expected to be brought before the prosecutorial authorities of Syros.
