Two members of a gang were arrested in Ioannina after impersonating accountants and taking money and jewellery from elderly women.

Two members of a gang were arrested in Ioannina after posing as accountants to obtain money and jewellery from three elderly women, according to Proto Thema.
In the suspects' car, in the boot, €42,650 in cash was found along with jewellery valued at €21,000.
The two defendants approached their victims presenting themselves as accountants, thereby gaining their trust in order to take money and valuables.
