A 30-year-old foreign national was arrested in Mykonos for drug distribution. Authorities found pink cocaine, ketamine, mushrooms and cash.

A 30-year-old foreign national was apprehended by police in Mykonos on 3 July. The man faces charges for trafficking in psychotropic substances, and is also being investigated for matters relating to his lawful residence in the country.
The operation was based on assessment of information from digital sources, which indicated that the individual was engaged in drug trafficking on the island of the Winds. According to the investigation, the suspect travelled by car to predetermined meetings, delivering packages containing various substances and collecting cash in return.
Officers conducted a search of his residence, a storage space he used regularly, and his vehicle. The searches resulted in the discovery and seizure of the following:
- 239 packages of cocaine and pink cocaine weighing 296.5 grammes
- Cannabis products (chocolate) totalling 154 grammes
- 37 doses of ketamine weighing 31.3 grammes
- 31 grammes of dried hallucinogenic mushrooms
- 50 tablets
- An electronic scales
- €8,000, $1,160 USD and a mobile phone
The illegal profit calculated to have been made from sales amounts to €45,085.
Additionally, it was established that an arrest warrant had been issued against him by Italian judicial authorities for a case of unlawful trafficking of foreign nationals. German authorities had also issued a decision banning him from entry and residence in Schengen countries.
The perpetrator was taken before the prosecutor, whilst the findings will be sent to the laboratory for further analysis.
