Police from the Lefkos Pyrgos division proceeded with the arrest of a 50-year-old Coast Guard official in Thessaloniki, following a complaint filed against him by his 49-year-old wife.
The woman alleged that her husband subjected her to physical violence. Based on the complaint, the authorities opened a case file for domestic violence. The arrested man is expected to be brought before the competent Maritime Court.
