Four underage foreign nationals have been identified as suspects in a series of thefts from shops and a kiosk in Ioannina, according to ERT. The case was handled by the Ioannina Division for the Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes.
According to the police investigation, the four underage individuals had formed a group for the purpose of committing thefts from early May, operating each time with different compositions. A case file was compiled against them for distinct thefts.
The investigation covered five total cases: four completed thefts and one attempted theft. Specifically, the underage individuals are accused of removing bottles of alcohol and a small sum of money from a shop in two separate incidents, whilst from a retail store they are alleged to have stolen 100 euros from the till.
The same kiosk was a repeated target, from which products with a total value of approximately 200 euros were removed. An unsuccessful attempted theft at the same location was also recorded.
The case file is to be submitted to the Ioannina Court of First Instance Prosecutor's Office.
