Thessaloniki: Case file against 47-year-old for robbery and burglaries with proceeds exceeding €11,000

Police officers from the Crime Investigation and Detection Department of Thermaic drew up a case file against a 47-year-old for robbery and four house burglaries in the areas of N. Mechaniona, Epanomi and Mesimeri.

An investigation by police officers from the Crime Investigation and Detection Department of Thermaic led to the clarification of five incidents of unlawful activity that took place between the end of March and the end of April 2026 in the areas of Nea Mechaniona, Epanomi and Mesimeri.

Police officers, following an assessment of pre-trial material, managed to identify the traces of a 47-year-old, who is allegedly involved in one robbery case and four cases of unlawful entry into residences. According to the findings of the investigation, the man obtained cash totalling €4,190 and jewellery valued at €7,400 from his victims.

The total value of the items removed exceeds €11,000. A case file was drawn up against the individual, which was submitted to the Office of the Public Prosecutor of the First Instance Court of Thessaloniki.

The 47-year-old, according to information, is already in custody at a correctional facility for other violations.
