Thessaloniki: 59-year-old driver beaten following road altercation
Two men were arrested in Thessaloniki following an assault on a 59-year-old driver, who reported that he was struck with punches and kicks.

A 59-year-old driver reported that he was savagely attacked by two men aged 40 and 44, following a quarrel that arose from a driving dispute in Kalochori, Thessaloniki.
The incident occurred yesterday afternoon. According to the victim's complaint, the two perpetrators attacked him with punches and kicks. The 59-year-old filed a report, resulting in police authorities proceeding with the arrest of both men.
Immediately after the incident, the two accused men were taken to AHEPA hospital to receive first aid.
From the procedure that followed, the 40-year-old was released on the prosecutor's oral order, after the completion of his hospitalisation. The 44-year-old was referred to the prosecutor. To date, the two perpetrators have not filed a counter-complaint against the 59-year-old.
