A 25-year-old in Thessaloniki fell victim to an armed robbery. The perpetrators threatened him with a gun and saw, obtained the code to his banking application, and transferred approximately €20,000 to their own account.

An armed robbery of unprecedented violence took place in Thessaloniki, with a 25-year-old man as the victim. The perpetrators immobilised the young man and threatened him with a weapon, while also using a saw to terrorise him.
According to the testimony of the victim himself, he feared for his life at that moment. "I was begging them not to kill me," he stated characteristically, describing the moments of terror he experienced.
The criminals managed to obtain the login details to the 25-year-old's banking application. Immediately afterwards, they transferred an amount of approximately €20,000 to an account controlled by themselves.
The case is being investigated by the city's police authorities, who are making efforts to locate and arrest those responsible.
