Thessaloniki: arrest of 29-year-old woman for attempted murder of partner with sharp object
A 29-year-old foreign national was arrested in the Upper Town of Thessaloniki for the attempted murder of her 24-year-old partner, whom she stabbed with a sharp object.

A violent incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday in central Thessaloniki, when a 29-year-old woman attacked and wounded her 24-year-old partner with a sharp object in an apartment in the Upper Town area.
Officers from the White Tower Police Department located the young man injured inside the apartment. They subsequently proceeded to arrest the 29-year-old foreign national, who is accused of attempted murder, domestic violence and violation of the weapons law.
A case file was compiled against her by officers from the White Tower Department of Prosecution and Crime Investigation. The arrested woman is expected to be brought before the competent judicial authorities.
