A 32-year-old man attended Eleusis Health Centre with a knife wound to the thigh, according to reports by Ethnos. He told police that two individuals attempted to rob him of his mobile telephone.
The 32-year-old reportedly resisted the robbery attempt, resulting in the perpetrators wounding him with a knife. The security guard at the Health Centre immediately notified police, who attended the scene and took a statement from the injured man.
The 32-year-old was subsequently transferred to Tzaneiion Hospital for medical care. Police are investigating the case and searching for the two alleged perpetrators.
Meanwhile, posts on social media allege that the 32-year-old is an anti-fascist and that the attack was carried out by "two known fascists from the city". These allegations have not been confirmed by official sources.
