Three minors arrested for arson in Psychiko with firecrackers
Three minors were arrested for the fire that broke out in Psychiko after allegedly throwing firecrackers. Their parents were also arrested for negligent supervision.
Arrest of three minors for Psychiko fire
Three minors were arrested in connection with the fire that broke out in Psychiko, at the boundaries with Alsos Veikou and Galatsi, according to Efimerida ton Syntakton.
The Fire Department's Directorate for Combating Arson Crimes (D.A.E.E.) conducted an inspection and investigation, from which evidence emerged of the involvement of the three minors. They are alleged to have thrown firecrackers that caused the fire.
In connection with the same case, their parents were also arrested, accused of negligent supervision of minors.
During their examination by the investigative officers of the D.A.E.E., the minors admitted their involvement and described their actions prior to the fire. They also expressed remorse and asked for forgiveness for the incident.
The arrested individuals are to be brought before the competent prosecutorial authorities.
