Two men and one woman were arrested in the centre of Thessaloniki, accused of three robberies with violence against passing citizens.

Patrol officers from the Rapid Response Unit of Thessaloniki proceeded with the arrest of two men, aged 31 and 42, as well as a 28-year-old woman, for three robberies involving the use of violence against pedestrians in the centre of the co-capital.
The incidents occurred during the night of 8 July 2026, when the trio approached victims who were walking on the streets. Over the course of ninety minutes, using physical force, they grabbed mobile phones from two men and one woman, and one debit card.
During their arrest, the suspects had in their possession the stolen card, which was returned to its owner. The female victim required medical care at a medical facility in the city due to injuries sustained during the attack.
The preliminary investigation is being conducted by the White Tower Department for the Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes. The three suspects will be brought before justice.
