Police officers in Trikala proceeded to arrest a man from Kosovo, who is suspected of planning to distribute a large quantity of cocaine in the wider area. According to information from Protothema.gr, the expected profit from the illegal activity is calculated to have exceeded €100,000.
The arrested man is expected to be brought before the Misdemeanour Prosecutor of Trikala. The investigation of the case has been taken over by the Crimes Investigation and Resolution Directorate of Trikala, which is conducting the preliminary investigation.
This case falls within the framework of the ongoing efforts of the prosecuting authorities in the area to restrict the distribution of narcotic substances.
