Rape and child sexual abuse material case in Thessaloniki: Three men arrested
Police authorities in Thessaloniki have solved cases involving rape, sexual assault and child sexual abuse material. Three men have been arrested, two Greek nationals aged 20 and 42, and a 41-year-old foreign national.

Three men have been arrested in Thessaloniki as they are being investigated for serious sexual offences. Two are Greek nationals, aged 20 and 42, whilst the third is a foreign national aged 41.
The cases solved concern the assault of a woman following administration of substances, as well as illegal activity involving a minor victim. According to information that emerged, contact with the child began via a dating application and was subsequently followed by a personal meeting.
The incidents allegedly took place between March and July 2025, in various areas of the city, including Kalamaria. Police officers from the local station compiled the relevant case files, which will be forwarded to the judiciary.
