Three defendants in Marfin case to testify in coming days
Next week, all three defendants in the Marfin case will testify, according to In.gr, following supplementary prosecution brought against them for premeditated manslaughter in the context of terrorist acts, as well as attempted manslaughter against 24 employees.
Two of the three defendants will be brought to the courts of the former Evelpidon school on 21 October, whilst the third will appear on 23 October. All three exercised their right to request a postponement so that both they and their lawyers could study the evidence in the case file before their supplementary testimony. The defendants are already in pre-trial detention.
According to information reported by In.gr, no new evidence linked to the supplementary charges has been included in the case file. Meanwhile, no data has yet emerged regarding the origin of the anonymous email which initially led to their arrest.
