In the early hours of Sunday morning on Varošku Street in Zagreb's Dubrava district, a serious incident occurred in which a 40-year-old driving a vehicle with Zagreb registration plates deliberately struck a 56-year-old man. After knocking the man down, he drove him briefly on the bonnet, then braked suddenly, causing the victim to fall to the ground.
The Zagreb Police Authority announced that the 56-year-old sustained serious injuries. Medical assistance was provided to him at Dubrava Clinical Hospital.
Police arrested the 40-year-old suspect and took him to official premises for criminal investigation.
