Police are investigating two separate assaults in which two men suffered serious head injuries, 24sata reports. One incident occurred on the island of Šolta, and the other in Split itself, within the span of just one day.
The assault on Šolta was recorded on the night of 19 August, around 00.30 hours, in Stomorska. Police officers from the First Police Station concluded the criminal investigation and are charging a 58-year-old with punching a 31-year-old in the head, after which the victim fell to the ground. Doctors confirmed the injured man had suffered a serious head injury, and he was kept under hospital care.
