Man arrested on Hvar with over one kilogram of cannabis
Police officers in Split-Dalmatia County have arrested a 54-year-old Hvar resident in whose possession significant quantities of drugs were found. During a search of a residential building he uses in a location within Jelsa municipality, five bags containing a total of 1,223 grams of dried cannabis leaf, a container with 50 millilitres of cannabis oil, an additional 55 grams of cannabis and precision scales bearing traces of drugs were discovered.
Following completion of the criminal investigation, the suspect was reported to the competent state prosecutor's office on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of unauthorised production and trafficking of drugs.
